Metropolitan Alliance for Common Good (MACG) is an inter-denominational organization composed of 34 religious congregations, labor union locals, and community-based organizations. It operates according to the belief that these institutions are the bases of an effective democratic society, and these institutions are instrumental in preserving the social fabric essential for strong families, healthy communities, and a just world. Health Care is a major focus this year.

MACG has two chief goals: (1) To help strengthen each member institution by promoting organizational cultures that are Relational, Action-Oriented, and Reflective and (2) To serve as a vehicle for member groups to operate publicly with sufficient power for justice and common good.
